Product Introduction

Hot-rolled carbon steel plates are made by rolling carbon steel billets after high temperature heating. The carbon content is generally less than 2.11%, and contains a small amount of alloy elements. The production process includes heating (1100-1300℃), rolling and cooling. It has high strength and good plasticity, with an oxide layer on the surface and slightly rough, and a wide range of thickness (1.2-25mm or more). Common grades include Q235, Q345, etc. Due to its low production cost and excellent processing performance, hot-rolled carbon steel plates are widely used in building structures, machinery manufacturing, vehicle engineering, general welding pipes and other fields. It is an important category of industrial basic materials. Compared with cold-rolled plates, its surface accuracy is lower but the price is more economical. It is suitable for occasions with high strength requirements but not strict surface requirements.

300HB: Wear-resistant steels (e.g. NM360, XAR300, JFE-EH360) offer a good balance between hardness and machinability and are often used in applications requiring moderate wear resistance.

400HB (1.8714): NM400, BRINAR400, XAR400 and FORA400, QUARD400, RAEX400 and other steels are the most common wear-resistant steels and are used in many areas requiring high wear resistance, such as conveying systems or construction machinery.

450HB (1.8722): Compared to 400HB steel, NM450, Weartuf450, BRINAR450, XAR450, RAEX450 and QUARD450 have higher wear resistance and are particularly suitable for highly stressed components, such as those in mining and earthmoving.

500HB (1.8734): NM500, BRINAR500, XAR500, FORA500, QUARD500, JFE-EH500 and RAEX500 have a hardness of 500HB and are more wear resistant. These steels are used in extremely wear environments, such as blades and cutting tools.

550HB: NM550 is a particularly hard steel used in applications that require extreme wear protection. This steel is particularly suitable for highly stressed wear parts.

600HB: NM600 and XAR600 are among the hardest wear-resistant steels on the market. They have maximum wear resistance and are used in applications with extremely high wear stresses, such as crushing plants or steel production.
